Lumina Power has the expertise and experience to design for almost any power supply requirement in the laser industry. With experience in high voltage (>300kV) and high power (>130kW), our R&D department can adapt configurations from our library of power supply topologies to meet any requirement imaginable. As an example, Lumina Power has recently developed a custom 1.6kW power supply with multiple outputs. This supply is the DC bus for an RF amplifier. Special requirements for this power supply include compact design - the power supply had to fit into a small, predetermined space - and high efficiency, as the unit must draw less than 20A at 100VAC.
